This fall, the Bridgehampton Museum proudly honors Bob Morrow and Dennis Suskind, whose longstanding commitment to the Museum and leadership in the early fundraising efforts for the Nathaniel Rogers House helped turn an ambitious vision into a reality.

A History of The Bridge Golf Club​
The Bridge sits on the grounds of the historic Bridgehampton Raceway, a celebrated road-racing course that drew some of the world’s most accomplished drivers and thousands of spectators to Bridgehampton. The permanent circuit opened in 1957 and became known for major events including the Bridgehampton 500 and Can-Am races.
Today, the landscape has been transformed into a private golf club, but the spirit and physical traces of the racing era remain part of the property. Elements of the former circuit and its racing history can still be found throughout the grounds, connecting today’s golfers with the remarkable history of the site. The Bridge’s identity reflects this unusual evolution—from a destination for speed, competition, and motorsport to a destination for golf, architecture, art, and community.
