The Bridgehampton Museum is pleased to announce the return of its signature fall fundraiser, Cocktails at the Bridge, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the exclusive Bridge Golf Club.
This year the Museum, is proud to honor past president Gerrit Vreeland and past board member John Millard. Their vision, leadership, and perseverance were instrumental in securing and restoring the Nathaniel Rogers House, which anchors the east end of Main Street in Bridgehampton. Together, and along with the rest of the board at the time, they not only raised much of the funding that made this extraordinary project possible, but also shouldered much of the burden—and bore much of the frequent criticisms—of the 13-year, $13 million restoration. Today, the Nathaniel Rogers House stands as a cornerstone of the Museum and a treasure for our community, thanks in large part to their dedication.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Gerrit and John for their extraordinary contributions,” said Executive Director, Connor Flanagan. “Their leadership not only preserved one of the most important historic structures in Bridgehampton, but also strengthened the Museum’s role as a cultural hub for the East End.”
We invite you to join us for an evening of cocktails and camaraderie at the Bridge Golf Club, generously hosted by Bob Rubin and the Bridge Golf Club, as we celebrate their contributions and continue to support the Bridgehampton Museum’s mission. Guests will have the opportunity to further support the Museum by bidding on a curated selection of trips provided by the American Fundraising Foundation and live music led by John Ludlow.
