Service Description

Summer in the Hamptons inspires one to try to capture the local beauty. This class will focus on flowers. The luminous quality of watercolor lends itself to painting the delicate flower form. Examples of drawings and paintings of flowers will be shared and watercolor techniques demonstrated. Imagine a local farm, field or garden. Time will be allowed for you to loosely paint your image as background. Students will be encouraged to experiment with watercolor techniques and then refine the flower form with detailed brush work. Basic watercolor materials will be available to use in the class. A review of watercolor paints and brushes will be presented for you to acquire. Be on time. Enjoy learning about the watercolor medium and involve yourself in the creative experience. This class offers the opportunity to learn from numerous styles of painting. You will be inspired.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelation To cancel a booking and receive a refund, you will need to email our Executive Director Connor Flanagan at connor@bhmuseum.org two days in advance requesting your refund. For example, if an event is taking place on a Saturday, you will need to send an email by Wednesday night at 11:59pm to be guaranteed a refund. Parking Parking can be found in our small parking lot off of Corwith Avenue or in any of the near by publicly available spots.
