On View:
September 7 - September 28, 2024
Location:
The Nathaniel Rogers House, 2539 Mtk Hwy, Bridgehampton
Throughout the summer of 2024 The Bridgehampton Museum hosted six plein air workshops around the Bridgehampton/Sagaponack area led by teacher and artist Howard Rose. The workshops were made up of both locals and a few people from as far away as Nassau County who made the long journey out on weekends in the summer to paint our immaculate vistas. These programs took place at:
The Nathaniel Rogers House on June 22nd
The William Corwith House on August 10th
The Southfork Natural History Museum and Nature Center on August 24th
At the completion of the classes, the artist who partook in the class were invited to submit some of their artwork for an exhibit which was shown at the Nathaniel Rogers House from September 7th to September 28th. Now you can view these works and images from the classes here. Make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can be notified about our next series of plein air classes!
