The Inspiration Around Us

Inspired by Sagg Swamp, an exhibition of photographs and textile works by Bridgehampton native Laurie Lambrecht, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the relationship between art and the natural world. Drawing inspiration from the swamp’s intricate patterns, textures, and colors, participants will create their own original works guided by Laurie. The workshop encourages creativity, experimentation, and a deeper appreciation for the local environment while introducing the tactile possibilities of working with thread and fabric. No prior textile experience is necessary. All materials are included, space is limited to 10.
